“Vintage Aroma” Tea Brick · 1995 Harvest · Taiwan Storage · 250 g
Dry Leaf
A 250 g brick of medium compression, easily separating into large twisted strands of dark brown leaves with deep amber buds and fine stems. The aroma is restrained and composed, with calm woody tones. The liquor is clear, with a deep amber hue.
Infusion
The bouquet of the brewed tea is mature and multi-layered, combining fruit and wood with notes of oak moss, spiced herbs, forest nuts, prune, and dried apple. The aroma is deep and warming, complex, with a fruit-spice character that unfolds gradually.
The taste is smooth and full, distinctly sweet with a gentle astringency. A light acidity adds structure, while cool spice nuances bring balance and lift. The texture is rounded and soft, leading into a long, memorable finish.
Brewing Method
Use water at 95°C (203°F). Brew in a gaiwan or a porous clay teapot.
Recommended ratio: 5 g of tea per 100 ml of water.
For the first infusion, steep for 5–7 seconds, then continue with short infusions, gradually increasing the steeping time.
Yields up to 12 infusions.
Overall Impression
A tea suited for special occasions or a deliberate, reflective mood—elegant, composed, and quietly profound.
Effect
Grounding and immersive, a refined companion for moments of inner stillness.
