Gongfu tea (Chinese: 工夫茶 / 功夫茶) can be seen as the "kung fu" of tea ceremonies — the term literally means "making tea with skill." It's a traditional tasting method defined by multiple infusions of the same tea leaves in a small teapot, originating in Chaozhou during the Song Dynasty — which is why it's often called "Chaozhou Gongfu Cha."

Our Gong Fu Cha Tea Tasting is led exclusively by a Senior Tea Master, offering a deeper dive into tea culture than our Tea Tasting or Pin Cha sessions. Let the tea master guide you on a full sensory journey — or steer the experience yourself by asking questions along the way.
The ceremony itself runs about 1 hour, with an additional 30 minutes afterward to relax and continue enjoying your tea — for a total experience of up to 90 minutes.
